The atmosphere was just like a home away from home. The staff were cute and made us feel like part of the family. They organized plenty of affordable activities every day, creating such a fun and lively atmosphere. It's hands down the best place to stay in Fremantle. Just be warned, you won't want to leave! The only drawback was the lack of en suite bathrooms, but it was a minor issue compared to everything else. I highly recommend this hostel for a fantastic stay.

The location of this backpackers is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and the bustling atmosphere of the suburb. the friendly staff provide great service and make you feel welcome. the communal area downstairs is a great place to relax and meet other guests. the rooms are clean and the prices are very reasonable.
Some of the rooms may be on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

pirates backpackers exceeded my expectations during my valentine's day stay in fremantle. the hostel felt like a home, with friendly staff and amazing people. it's located right in the center close to everything, perfect for chilling or partying. highly recommended!
Creaky floorboards were a small issue.

What a gem of a place! The owner is incredibly caring and the atmosphere at this hostel is just amazing. It felt like home within just a few days. The other guests here were respectful and had a great sense of common courtesy. Plus, the location couldn't be better - right in the heart of everything! The staff were also incredibly lovely and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to this awesome city!
I have to be honest, the state of the building was a bit disappointing. It's an older building and could definitely use some maintenance.

The energy was amazing, like one big international family. The owner and staff made me feel welcome and at home. Clean rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Cosy courtyard with lots of plants. Convenient location near cafes and shops. Plenty of available jobs. Daily activities organized by the owner. Great value for money.
Don't have any issues at all.

The rooms are nice and the lounge is perfect for socializing. Definitely recommend this hostel for a fantastic experience! So stoked!
